Courtside Prospect Lab is a Pokémon-inspired basketball player creator where you can draft an original athlete from the ground up. Choose their species, look, position, playstyle, personality, signature ability, and backstory—then generate a full player dossier with attribute ratings, overall score, and scouting analysis. 

Compare your prospect’s game to NBA legends, create some unconventional builds, randomize a new star, and save your favorites to your personal draft archive, allowing you to create your own dream team. Create the next MJ or Kobe, create the next player the NBA makes rules for, or create the next standard that the league will follow.

NOTE: This is a work in progress that I vibe-coded using ChatGPT. Because of this, you will probably find players in the wrong position, among other things. If you are against AI being used in the game creation process, I understand and respect your opinion. However, as someone with no coding experience and even fewer financial prospects to pay someone to do this "the right way", this was the only avenue I had to bring an idea I had to life.

Furthermore, while Pokémon was not the intended theme, I think it could be a fun idea regardless. I'll work on a non-Pokémon creator and maybe a human one in the future.
